Carl Safina
Carl Safina, Ph.D., an ecologist, inaugural holder of the Chair for Nature and Humanity at Stony Brook and President of The Safina Center, is a world-renowned, multiple award-winning author on oceans, animals, and the human relationship with the natural world. A MacArthur, Pew and Guggenheim Fellow, he hosted the PBS series, Saving the Ocean with Carl Safina. His many books include Song for the Blue Ocean and Eye of the Albatross.
