Sarah Crowell, a dancer/performer, choreographer, theater director, and multiple award-winning, groundbreaking educator and curriculum developer for teen arts programs, has worked at Oakland’s Destiny Arts Center since 1990 as a dance teacher, artistic director, workshop facilitator, program development director, and as the organization’s Executive Director from 2002-2007. She co-founded the renowned Destiny Arts Youth Performance Company in 1993.
