Whendee Silver, Ph.D., Professor of Ecosystems Ecology at U.C. Berkeley, a leading researcher on the biogeochemical effects of climate change and the potential for mitigating those effects, serves on the Steering Committee of The Marin Carbon Project, conducting and coordinating its scientific research, translating those findings for the public, consulting on the project’s implementation plan, and managing its long-term carbon monitoring.
