Sunny Dooley is one of the premier contemporary storytellers of the Dine' (Navajo) people. Dine’ is her first language, but she has been able to transpose ancient ancestral stories that transmit the Navajo worldview into English, and she has been able to share them for several decades in a wide range of settings, including educational institutions, theaters, museums, conferences and festivals throughout North America, Europe, and West Africa.
