Rupa Marya, MD, a physician on faculty at UCSF and founder of the Do No Harm Coalition, which works to make visible health disparities and the nexus of racism and state violence, is currently helping set up a free community clinic for the practice of decolonized medicine under Lakota leadership at Standing Rock. Rupa is also an internationally touring performer with her band, Rupa and the April Fishes.
