Rose Elizondo, a Soros Justice Fellow and a community organizer and leader in the Restorative Justice (RJ) movement in Northern California, co-founder of the North Oakland Restorative Justice Council, has developed a wide range of programs, trainings, and practices in schools and communities in the U.S. and Mexico. In 2005, she co-founded the San Quentin Prison RJ Interfaith Roundtable, which now brings together over 200 incarcerated men/transgender people in circles each week.
