Maya Khosla

Maya Khosla, born in London and raised in Burma, England, Bhutan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan, a former biology professor, is a writer and poet whose work includes Web of Water: Life in Redwood Creek, and Keel Bone (Dorothy Brunsman Poetry Prize); and many pieces on post-fire forests. She is also a fillmmaker who has made films for the Turtle Diaries Project and, most recently directed Searching for Gold Spot: The Wild That Follows Fire, which is being shown at Bioneers this year.
