Loren Poncia, a 4th generation, highly environmentally conscious cattle rancher of his family’s spread, Stemple Creek Ranch in Tomales, CA, raises all natural, grass-fed beef and lamb. His great grandfather Angelo Poncia, an immigrant from Italy, founded the ranch in 1902. Loren, who studied Dairy Science and Ag Business at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, manages the entire ranching operation.
