Ben Monterroso is the Executive Director of Mi Familia Vota, one of the nation’s leading Latino civic engagement organizations. In 1984 he helped lead the fight against the extreme anti-immigrant ballot initiative, California Proposition 187, and has been a force for the political empowerment of Latinos ever since. Ben also leads national coordinating efforts for the Alliance for Citizenship, a coalition of 200+ organizations working for fair immigration policies.
