White Women Wake Up: Confronting Inner and Outer Racism and Patriarchy
Feedback form is now closed.
How can white women become genuine allies with people of color? How do we counteract "white fragility"? How can we use our privilege and power to counter racism and patriarchy in our homes, companies, places of worship, neighborhoods? And do it with a sense of joy? Author and activist Courtney Martin leads a conversation about the intersection of modern, progressive whiteness with others’ diverse realities, with friends: Mia Birdsong, anti-poverty activist; Natalie Foster, tech organizer; Allison Cook, environmental storyteller. Come be informed, challenged, and inspired to make personal and political change.
